Greetings All. Hopefully, many of you have had the chance to check out the new “creation” link on our website (www.borderlandsweb.com). It has a large set of resources from the Manna Lectures I gave on the topic of creation a few weeks ago in Holland, MI. You can get lecture notes, power point slides and full audio from both talks. Rather than going into “six day creationism” vs “day age” or “framework” views of creation, we took a look at the basic doctrine and its implications.
In the next couple weeks, we should have several video clips from the lectures available for download. In the meantime, here is a short one from the first lecture. In it, I’m talking a bit about how the doctrine of creation functions in worldview. I’d given an illustration about trying to make a good stew. What if you only had a nail and water, could you get beef stew? Only if you borrowed someone else’s ingredients. Anyway…that will at least give you some framework for understanding the clip. Enjoy.
