This summer, Corinth (the church I serve) will be going through a 14 week series called “Basic Training.” We’re going to look at key doctrines and how they affect our character and behavior. I’m teaming up with some friends to shoot a 14-week season of videos, following the trials and triumphs of a group of soldiers. They’re part of the “Super Secret Special Ops Training” program. It should be funny.
Thought you all might enjoy seeing the process unfold. Below is an example of “pre-visualization,” a way of planning out what certain video elements will look like. They’re the opening credits (minus the final graphics, words and characters, which we’ll be shooting in front of green screen).

ok borderlands peeps, i realize this posting is pretty random. but needless to say, i felt it was something worth sharing.
So i’m on holiday this week in SoCal (its really southern california, but it sounds so much cooler saying it that way). I was eating dinner at a fine place called In-N-Out Burgers. So as i was getting ready to throw my wrapper away from my tasty cheeseburger and i started reading the back of it. It said stuff like est 1948, family owned, freshness and quality. But what intrigued me most was in the bottom left hand corner it said Nahum 1:7. That seemed odd to be on a burger wrapper. When I got back to my room I looked up the verse.
nkjv-The Lord is good. A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.
So, it was a pretty cool experience to see that on there. All i see on McD’s, is how many gazillion billion have been served since monday. Looks like the people of In-n-out burger serves the One, and that’s good enough for them.
I would encourage anyone that gets a chance, check out an In-N-Out burger if you’re out west at all. Its great food and apparantly a God honoring company as well.

i just watched the video trailer…why are there flames in the background? is the training in Hell or are you going to blow something up? other than that, i wish i could be a part of it.
Anything with Adam is tops in my book!

re: the video, it’s the incredible flaming passion of the super secret special ops training regime going on. and there is stuff getting blown to smithereens in their wake.

ahh, that definitely clears it up! the numchuck skillz that i’ve acquired aren’t nearly as messy but just as effective….which is nice.
