At The Border

A Meeting Place for Those Who Aren’t Afraid of the Border

So…what do you think’s going on here?

  1. I think it is following Alinski’s playbook…Rules for Radicals.

Adam, have you read the recently found long lost book Prairie Fire by William Ayers? It is very obvious the deception going on with these folks…This site has the scans of this book:

In this book, Ayers say he is communist…and that he is against the US in the Vietnam War…he is not against the war per se…but against the US imperialistic policies…

Did you know the George Luca’s Star Wars, the Empire actually represented the US? The rebels in Star Wars represented the Vietcongs…I read that in a book about Star Wars and George Lucas. He himself said that. I was shocked.

  2. It seems that the man with the microphone has found an area that all think the same, which makes the whole crowd of people voting for McCain look like this.

It’s frustrating when someone makes it seem that everyone thinks this way when the only opinions he allows to be heard are the outrageous ones. This, I can only guess, helps make his video funnier.

  6. I got this same video sent to me without all the cartoon business…view it here:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRqcfqiXCX0

The transcript I saw says the old guy uses the word “Negro,” but I played the video a few times and it seems like he’s using the Ohio venacular “Negra”

  7. It is an unfortunate reminder that persistent pockets of racism and ignorance are not difficult to find in our society. While the republican campaign runs a certain amount of political dirt on Obama, it certainly doesn’t promote the fringe views held by some of these folks. Their attendance at this rally falls along the lines of “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”. Vladimir Putin could have shown up here to campaign against Obama and many of these folks would have rallied to the cause. This is not Palin’s national core of support as the interviewer would have us believe, rather a carefully edited fringe element united only by a common “enemy”. Both the McCain-Palin campaign and the folks interviewed in this video are interested in defeating the Obama-Biden presidential ticket, but for vastly different reasons. I would like to know how many solid, morally and politically well-grounded viewpoints the interviewer had to discard in editing to get his agenda across in this video.

  8. I went to Chicago Taste-Fest this year with my family and saw 15 homeless people and one guy who was wearing a sandwich board which read “You are all communist spies”.

Why do Communists and Homeless people exclusively support Taste-Fest? I’ll tell you one thing, if these are the people who go to Taste-Fest, I’m saving my money and going to Blues-Fest next year!

    Anyway…

I asked four people what they thought of this clip and 4 out of 4 agreed that it was an inadequate sample size. Therefore it must be true.
